The LEAD programme, run by IEED, has been highly commended by the EFMD at its annual Excellence in Practice Awards.

The programme, which has helped to unleash the growth potential of SMEs by honing the leadership skills of owner-managers and developing their capacity to deliver their strategic vision, was recognised by the judging panel in a special 'Network Partnership' category. The submission on behalf of LEAD was made jointly by Dr Ellie Hamilton, LUMS Associate Dean for Enterprise, and Clive Memmott, Chief Executive of Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
